Our services can be used for anything that is legal under UK law, things that our services cannot be used for, but is not limited to is;
- Carrying out DDoS or Amplification attacks
- Spoofing IPs
- Port scanning (includes zmap)
- Sending spam emails or distributing malware
- Being a peer for torrenting
- Hosting or facilitating of phishing websites
- The use of cracked or unlicensed software
- Creating virtual GRE tunnels to other data center services. (excludes VPN's for home connections)
- Any other use of the service that may be deemed mis-use
If any of your services are found to be breaking the above terms, they will be terminated.
We offer a 7-day money back guarantee if your services are to be found at fault, this could be because of the following reasons;
- Network outage lasting more than 3 hours
- Power outage lasting more than 6 hours
- Hardware replacement taking longer than 48 hours
7-day refund is from the initial (first) payment.
Data Loss & Protection
DDOS Protected will not be held responsible for the backing up and integrity of customers data. In the case that data loss may occur, you will be held responsible for your own data and a refund cannot be offered if outside the 7-day distance-selling policy. When a hard drive or SSD fails, we will replace the failed hardware within 24 hours.
If you have outstanding bills for your services, then this can lead to data loss through server reinstallation after 5 days of being overdue.
Billing & Cancellations
Any services that have outstanding bills for 5 days will be automatically deleted (5 Days after the due date), this will lead to total data loss on your server. If there are special circumstances regarding the payment, then the 5 days can be extended subject to prior agreement.
All cancellation requests must be made via the client area located at https://cp.v2internet.com and not via email. Cancellations will automatically cancel all outstanding invoices for the service and will be removed from your account at the end of its billing period. Cancellations can be revoked at any time, if not immediate.
Late Payments & Fees
We reserve the right to charge a late payment fee on any invoice that becomes overdue. The fee will be calculated as 10% of the invoice value, an example would be if your invoice is £10GBP and you did not pay on time a fee of £1GBP would be added. Late payment fees can be avoided if you contact us before the due date if you will be unable to make the payment before the due date.
Paypal disputes/chargebacks will result in immediate suspension of service, all evidence of server use, customer data including but not limited to customer IP addresses and server use will be provided to PayPal.
Card disputes/chargebacks will result in immediate suspension of service, all evidence of server use, customer data including but not limited to customer IP addresses and server use will be provided to the payment processor. In the event a chargeback is issued a fee of £50 + amount disputed an invoice will be generated, we reserve the right to pass your details to credit collection companies to recover the full amount plus any fees we incur during the collection process.
Credit/Debit Card orders - We may request a photo/scan of any cards used when using the Credit/Debit Card option during the checkout. We may request this as proof of ownership of the card. You may blank out the middle 2 blocks of numbers, only showing the first 4 numbers and the last 4. In the event, we request this information and it is not provided within 24 hours orders may be canceled and all servers removed from our systems. We will not be held responsible for any loss of data, income or information if a customer fails to provide this information if requested.
We will attempt to collect card payments at the time your invoice is generated, all invoices are generated 14 days before the due date. This is our standard policy for all customers payment by card.
